Check out the "One Dollar off
a lunch basket." coupon below!!
Greetings from the land of rain. Again we have received
mucho rain. I think we dodged some horrific storms. The
rain, hail, winds, lightening and thunder were abundant. It
woke me up three times the other night. We must have
received 5 inches of rain. We dodged the tornadoes. The rain
is never enough around here. Inland lakes are still down
severely.
Fishing seems to continue to be good, that is if you can get
out without getting wet!
Elliott got rained out both Monday and Wednesday from his
little league baseball games. He was a bit discussed. He
really loves the game. Speaking of baseball, go Brewers. So
far they have taking two from the Twinkies. Sorry Scottie!
I only golfed league on Tuesday as we were rained out on
Wednesday. We played pink devil ball. Of course it was me
that lost the ball on the water hole. Oh well I am over it.
We had a good time. It was very hot and humid. I think I got
heat stoked.
It was a very nice Memorial service for Ann Foat Johnson.
The family did a super job honoring Ann. "Wind beneath my
wings" will be played at the Barnes Community Church every
May 15 (my birthday and my favorite song) in memory of my
buddy Ann. What a great tribute to a great woman.
The wedding for Teresa and Gary went off very well. The
girls looked beautiful and the men were handsome. A great
turnout for a great couple. Of course I had too much fun as
usual. Congrats you two! You are the best.
Congrats to Angela(Jordahl) and Jeremy Bartels on the birth
of their daughter Alli Marie born On June 19th. Ang use to
work for me and baby-sit Elliott. We go way back. They will
be the most terrific parents. Congrats you two, love and
miss you!
Elliott is in full swing with his little league. His team
has done quite well. He is enjoying his time playing
baseball. They have even won a few games. More then they
have lost. He had a great time at Hidden Greens golf lessons
this past Thursday.
A happy happy birthday to my buddy Jenneane, we had a nice
celebration at White Birch last Sunday honoring her and for
Father's Day. Wow first year without Pops, it seemed weird.
Congrats to Jeff Schiller as he purchased my parents house
in Barnes on Hall Road. May all go well for him. We now can
close their estate and move on. I miss them both
tremendously RIP Mom and Dad. We love you!
