Check out the "Dollar off a
large pizza." coupon below!!
Greetings from the hustle and bustle of beautiful downtown
Barnes (if there is such a thing). The snow mobiles have
been out in abundance. The pub run has been well received.
We are seeing many people trying to accomplish the 27 out of
33 establishments to receive their cool pub run shirts. We
have completed ours, not in one day though.
Ice fishing reports are very good. It seems Dave Scharlau
bagged a big northern about 20 lbs and he will mount it!
Congrats. Where? Only Dave knows well maybe his son too!
A big Thank you to everyone for your support, cards, food,
masses and flowers in memory of my Dad Mickey. It is been a
hectic couple weeks trying to plan funerals, burial and
close his estate. I couldn't do without everyone's help and
concern. I am truly blessed, I am very thankful to each and
every one of you. We stopped at the veteran's cemetery and
saw where my mom and dad are entombed. A very serene
beautiful place. Rest in Peace.
I wasn't at bowling so I am not sure how we faired or whom
we bowled.
Pool has been fun as well. I only won two games this week.
One was a 3 rail shot on the eight ball. Poor Georgie he
wins the empty 12 pack again, he has been shooting well but
coming up a bit short. Kent and Jeff Britton won all four
with Kent winning the 12 pack. A good time was had by all.
Elliott continues with his drum lessons from Mr. Lane the
band instructor at Drummond High school. Rock on. Elliott
enjoyed his trip to The Dells with his Auntie Jenneane. Ya'
think he was spoiled?
We have had warm temps during the day but cold nights. Snow
is still good! More snow would be fabulous. Snow Dance.
Thanks to all that help support our snowmobile club. John
Peterson does a great job of being trail boss. The trails
are great. Thanks to a great grooming staff. You guys should
be commended.
We went down south this past weekend. We delivered my Dad's
car to my brother in Milwaukee then off to Legislative Days
for the Tavern League of WI. We visit our politicians and
voice our concerns and try and convey our issues. This is
very important and we are a group to reckon with. We are
5000 members strong with a strong lobbying group. If you own
a liquor license and are NOT a member shame on you! If you'd
like to be a member contact me 715-795-2320.
