Greetings from the land of hustle and bustle. The Holiday Season is running rampant. Please remember the reason for the season and all will be fine!

Elliott completed Basketball and it wasn't a very good year but a year of growth. The eighth and ninth graders had a very good year. It looks like the high school team will do well!

Elliott completed the gun season as there was a doe only hunt last weekend. Out of 8 guys they ended up with 4 deer. I guess that is 50/50. Hunters really had to work for their deer. It was Elliott's first deer season and he saw about 3 deer and couldn't get a shot. Many complaints about no deer were heard. Many hunters will not buy another license. The DNR needs to investigate. Write to your congress people, please!

Our Pool league started and much to my dismay I have lost all games played. Congrats to Larry Lois and Bob Stack they won all four. Bob won the playoff and the 12 pack. Good job Bob! Thurs Dec 17 at 6p.m is our Pool Christmas Party. Everyone is welcome. Bring a dish to pass. We shoot pool and play cribbage and feast on all the Christmas concoctions. We could always use Subs for pool. Give us a shout.

The weather has been cold we are in a cold spell. We have about 8-10 inches of snow on the ground. Enough to snow mobile. With the cold weather the lakes are freezing. Greg Martin informed me the Upper was froze over. So get your butt in gear and come relax and snow mobile or ice fish.

We did not bowl last week as we had the kids home for a snow day. We will make it up this week bowling 6 games. Good luck team.
