Check out the "Buy one, get one"
drink coupon below!!
Greetings where all the Goblins were! The TP Halloween party
was a ghost of a time! There were many great costumes. Too
many to even pick a winner. Everyone was so darn creative! I
am sorry we had to narrow it down to 3 winners, all were
winners in my book. Al Olson was 1st place-the doctor, his
character was of the mad doctor and so well acted. 2nd place
was the Roller derby team of Heather, Jackie, Dawn, Heidi
and Wyatt. Heidi even derbied me down! Don't worry all is
well. 3rd place went to the newbies in town Zach and
Tiffany, Tiffany is a new cosmetologist at Debbies Hair
Design. A big welcome to Barnes as well. Thanks for all who
showed up in costume.
Scottie and I surprised Elliott at the Lions Club Halloween
Party in our costumes, he was embarrassed bigtime and said
we ruined his Halloween. That's a moms job isn't it! We won
1st place at the Decoy for our costume, we certainly were
silly as two old ladies. I will be getting some photos soon
I hope.
Elliott had his first middle school basketball game against
Solon Springs a good time was had, more practice is
necessary. He continues to do well at school and is going to
the youth program on Wednesdays at the Barnes Community
church. He enjoys mingling with the other kids and the
college students and of course Dave Johnson the youth
director.
The weather has been ok thus far this week. At least the sun
is shining. I hope it continues as we are going to try and
get more of the garage done this weekend.
Way to go Badgers they shutout a top 20 team as in Purdue
last weekend. I hope they continue to win. Now for the
Packers the darn ole' Queens beat um up! I am hoping for the
Phillies to take the Yankees in the World Series. Go Red!
My get well wishes for Chad Howe, Jenneane's son. He is
hospitalized with pneumonia, strep throat and complications
from the H1N1 virus. Get well Chad! Mary Foss is not doing
to well at home, she continues to need our prayers...as does
Terry Dorn. Dean Peet is also facing some medical issues and
all the other's that are under the weather. Please keep them
in your prayers.
Farewell to Cheryl as she makes her winter trip to Florida.
We sure will miss you and we will see you in the spring.
