My Bad! I must have been on sabbatical the last month! Somehow things are so hectic. It has been crazy busy. Trust me I am not complaining, just making up excuses. When I hear that I am lapsing on the happenings from customers, it's time to shape up!

Elliott is finished with his golf lessons. A big thank you to Stacey Burfield his golf instructor. She is also the coach of the Northwestern Golf Team. What a sweetheart she is! Elliott sure enjoyed his golf lessons this year as he is hitting the ball well. Speaking of Golf, I had the privilege of golfing in the Barnes Open a few weeks back. Scottie, Bob and John were on our team. We ended up winning the mixed team at 3 under. What a fun day we had!

Golf leagues have been fun as usual. Anytime I get out on the golf course it is fun. I did win a few dollars as well. We are in tournament at Hidden Greens. It will continue next week. I did not golf to well the first week but the word was nobody did. Maybe the pressure was on.

Speaking of winning the Wanderoos Lions Team won the annual Barnes Lion's softball tournament last weekend. They came up from the loser's bracket to beat Wilson's Bar from Madison twice. Way to go girls! This team stays at the Wilderness Inn every year! Boy oh boy do they have fun. Right Heather!

Happy Birthday wishes to Joan, Lois, Bev and Wayne this past week!
We traveled down to Minneapolis for a surprise birthday party for Lois's 80th birthday! She certainly was surprised! Happy birthday!

Soon- summer will be over and the kids will be back in school. Our school starts Sept 1st...seems early to me! Too me, summer felt very short, the weather seemed to play a big part into the short season.

Be careful of swimmer's itch. I was struck with the awful condition. Try and dry off if you are in any lakes. Then shower immediately this will help prevent the dreaded swimmer's itch.
