I must have been on sabbatical last week! Somehow I couldn't get my butt in gear to write this. Life seems to always be hectic. Elliott has little league 3 times a week. They haven't won yet but they are coming around. The weather doesn't seem to cooperate for games or practice. Soon something has to give.

Golf has been ok. I won the longest putt last week at Hidden Greens league. Elliott , Scottie and I seem to be golfing gurus. We hit the course any chance we get.

Highway 27 is currently under construction. They are putting in new culverts. During the day the road seems to be impassable. On the weekends they are trying to have it open. When oh when is this weather going to give. In the last week we have had frost at night. The days haven't been to great either. Monday we did have much needed rain. Any colder and we would have received snow! Can you believe it! It seems like April weather. We haven't had many nice days yet but I am confident it is on it's way this weekend. I say something about 80.

Happy Birthday to my Aunt Lorraine in Dyer IN she is 90. Wow what a milestone! I hope her birthday party was a success. It is not everyday someone turns 90. Congrats to a splendid lady!

Elliott has started summer vacation. He is busy with many things planned for the summer. Little League, golf lessons, basketball camp, summer camp and a part time job doing dishes. I believe in keeping him busy. Busy hands are happy hands....right Tom Pieters?

We had a few people over for what I called a "pig roast" all went well. A good time was had by all. Thanks Fed Ex for the sweatshirt. Thanks to Keith and Colleen for the yummy ribs and the housewarming gifts, a warm welcome for our new house.

Karna is doing pretty well from her surgery soon she will be back in force. We sure do miss her.
