Greetings for the land of pristine beauty. Boy it sure has been beautiful. Warm days and cool nights with virtually no humidity. It doesn't get any better then that!

Life has been hectic for most of us. There doesn't seem to be enough time in the days. Business has be good! Who says the Gas prices are hurting? Not in Barnes...yet!

Golf was ok this week I only golfed on Tuesday, it was the final day of our yearly tournament play. I didn't start out too well but had a good comeback to finish off average. No big money here! I wasn't able to gold Wednesday. I hope to get back on track.

Elliott was at Basketball camp in Rhinelander. I picked him up on Wednesday and we stayed in Minocqua for a couple days at a waterpark. A good relaxing time for both of us!

Congrats to the RC Decoy girls softball team as they came up in the losers bracket to beat my Wanderoos Lions Team. These girls always stay at the Motel. Congrats girls on second place! Thanks for your patronage and the team shirt. You are the best! I hope to someday get down your way. This weekend it is the men's tournament. Good luck to all!

My sincere condolences to the Bill Rohde family. He passed away last week.

I can't believe Labor Day Weekend is in two weeks away. That means school will be starting soon. Most kids are ready by this time. Elliott is!

Once again...I want to thank my staff for a job well done this crazy busy week. We all stuck together and kicked it in. It is nice to know I can count on each of you when I really need you! Your part of the reason The Trading Post is what it is!
