Greetings from the hustle and bustle of Barnes. Life is busy in the land of vacationers. There are people everywhere. The fourth was very good. No reports of any accidents or trouble. The parade was enormous. The float winners was The Jackie and Paul Solberg/Thorn crew. Well done guys! The water fights were on. The bar was very busy and I think there were record people. A good time was had by all. Some of the people didn't see the Fireworks no names mentioned. The fireworks were very good as usual. Thanks to the EMT/ fire department for their diligent work on this project.

Elliott had a great time at Crossroads Camp in Delta. The weather was great for him. This is the third year in a row he has gone. He will also be going to a Basketball camp in Rhinelander in August. We are keeping very busy with all of summers activities. Golf at Hidden Greens was good this week our team ending up winning. The game was sucker in the bucket. At Forest Point on Wed the game was drop two holes and subtract your handicap. My score was 24...not to good! Thursday was Elliott's lessons. Stacy said he did marvelous.

Congratulations are in order for the Barnes Trading Post 4th of July softball team. We won the tournament for the 5th straight year. Way to go guys! Thanks for your patronage as well. Your the best!

I also want to thank my staff for a job well done this crazy busy week. We all stuck together and kicked it in. It is nice to know I can count on each of you when I really need you! Your part of the reason The Trading Post is what it is!
