Greetings from the land of Red White and Blue. That sounds like a Pabst commercial. The summer season is upon us. Many people are flocking for their summer fun. Business is booming. We will make hay while the sun shines!

I did not golf in league this week. I did however get out with my brother once and other friends once. This is a very busy week. Elliott is at camp. He will return home for the festivities of the Fourth. He has had a wonderful warm and sunny week.

It was very nice to see my brother Larry. He made the trip from Indiana to visit. I miss him already. I hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend. The parade is Friday at noon. The fireworks are at duck at the Town Hall/ball fields. On Saturday there is The VFW chicken BBQ at the VFW and ball tournaments are Sat and Sun at the VFW as well. Come out and enjoy the fun!

The safe-ride program has officially started in Barnes. Ask the bartender if you would like a safe-ride home? For more information just call me 715-795-2320.
