I've been a
bit lax on the happenings lately. A bit snowed. Not literally,
just figuratively! Although Friday late night I saw the
biggest flakes of snow ever. No I wasn't seeing things either.
Opening fishing was much better then predicted. By Saturday
noon the sun was peaking out after the 2 inches of rain that
fell Friday, it wasn't a total disaster.
Some old friends were up to visit last weekend. We had a great
time seeing the sights! And test driving cars. I have
purchased a new vehicle MKX, it is very nice! I love it!
I was able to get out and at least hit the driving range. Golf
starts Wednesday in Gordon and the following Tuesday in Solon
Springs. I will try and golf two leagues. Sounds like a deal
to me! I love to get outside.
We had our annual 9 ball tourney on Sat. Thanks for all who
shot and the spectators as well. Ken Lowery fought his way
back in the losers backet to win. Tom Rice took second and
Scotty Chingo took 3rd place. Way to go guys! Deb your were
awesome too!
The safe-ride program has officially started in Barnes. Ask
the bartender if you want a safe-ride home? For more
information just call me 715-795-2320. Let's all have fun and
be safe!
Get well wishes to Paul Merz "Murph" as he is recovering from
a severe ATV accident. My heart goes out to his wife Jane, she
too has a long road.
