WHAT HAPPENED
02/19/08 - 02/25/08
Check out the Wilderness Inn
coupon below!!
Greetings from the land of up and down weather....warm,
cold, warm, cold! This is winter!
The snowmobile trails are reported in very good conditions. I
get a first hand report from the groomer in Bayfield County.
He said the trails are in great shape. They are grooming
continuously. Great job you guys! Also to the mechanics that
pitch in and help keep those groomers going.
It was nice to get back into the bowling scene. I bowled ok
with one game in the hundred and sixties. Good for me! Our
team won one game I believe. It was good to get back and see
everyone!
Pool was eventful as usual. seems that Mr Maint hit his head
too hard. He thought he was at a costume party. And sweetie
petey has a new girlfriend. No more red dresses for us! Ken,
Larry and Pete won all three games. Pete won the shoot off and
the 12 pack. Harlan has won two empty 12 packs two weeks in a
row. I think Thursday nights have become comedy night. One
wonders what will happen next. Makes for a fun night!
Elliott is all finished with elementary basketball on Saturday
mornings. It has been a good experience for the kids. Thanks
to Mr Hansen the boys high school coach and Mr Perkins. It is
nice of them to take time on their weekend.
The Drummond Boys Basketball team is in regional tournament
play. They are the cinderella team of the Indianhead
conference. They beat Bayfield and Solon Springs in tournament
play. Both the teams were expected to beat Drummond. Way to go
Drummond. They face Siren in Webster on Sat afternoon. Go
Jacks go! We were able to watch the Solon game. They were
behind by about 12 points and came back to win. Good job guys!
The barstool races were this past weekend. Everyone had a
great time. It was an awesome turnout for the fundraiser for
the Sno -Jack's snowmoible club. The Menomonie team won again
three years in a row. Our team didn't fair to well. We are in
the rebuilding stage!
Our 5th annual 9 ball tournament is April 26, 2008. Call for
more information or to reserve your spot! We always have a
good time!
Congrats to Jeremy and Angela as they were married in Jamaica
In January. They are having a north woods reception this Sat.
Angela is the daughter of Darin and Leigh Jordahl. She worked
for me for ions and helped take care of Elliott. She is a
graduate of Drummond High School (first in her class I might
add) and a graduate of UW Madsion). She is now working on her
Masters in occupational therapy. I believe. I am very proud of
her. Best wishes for a happy future to two wonderful people.
Thank you to all of you for your support and patronage. All
the best in 2008! Thank you to all my help. It is a great
feeling knowing I can go away on vacation and rely and trust
all of you! Your the best!
