Greetings from the frigid land of Barnes. We are in a deep
freeze all of a sudden. It could be worse and it could be
better. The snowmobile trails are reported in good conditions.
I got a first hand report from an master rider. The corridor
was a 9 out of 10 and the regular trails were a 6. And the
trails are empty. So come on up over or down and do some
snowmobiling or ice fishing. The reports of ice fishing are
favorable also. Dancing dancing dance!
Bowling was exceptional this week. We won all seven points. I
received my average 2 out of 3 games missing it by one pin on
the 3rd. Good week girls!
I subbed for John for pool, with Mr. Maint as the coach. I
lost all four games. That means I win the empty 12 pack....boo
hoo! Ken and Willis(Phyllis) won all four games. The shoot out
had Ken winning but he sunk the cue ball with the eight ball.
Phyllis won the Coors light. Congrats Willis!
Elliott started elementary basketball on Saturday mornings,
they are learning the fundamentals for future play. It is fun
to watch the younger kids play.
Elliott and I both had Dentist appointments this week. Yippee
no cavities. Way to go E!!
Go Pack go pack beat the Giants! They play Sunday at 4:30, I
believe. Brett is awesome. I hope they go all the
way!!!!!!!!!!!!
We all had a nice time at Mike Rice's 80th birthday party. It
was a nice turn out even if the Packers were playing. It was
nice to reminisce about the days! May you live another 80!
A big Thank you to all of you for your support and patronage.
All the best in 2008!
