Greetings from the land of 90 degree weather. Do we live in
Hawaii? I guess I am not complaining for it is summer well
almost. It is pretty dry though. In a perfect world I wish
it would rain everynight.
The little leaguers won last Thursday. Elliott hit a grand
slam...woohoo!Good for the confidence level. On Tuesday they
fell to Hayward 10-9. Our kids weren't hitting. I think the
heat got to them. That's the best excuse I have! They have
only lost the one game. I know, I know it's only a game and
someone has to win and someone has to lose.
I also got Elliott's report card...Wow!! Was I proud of him!
I never expected it to be that stellar. Good job Elliott!
Golf was good this week. I love getting out there. I had a
39 with my handicap. We are doing pretty well. I think we
are in 2nd place. And perhaps we will move up this week.
Stay tuned until next week for the official update.
My eyes are slowly returning to normal. The Doctor said it
is the worst case he has ever seen. It will take some time
but they will heal 100 percent. It was very scary.
My friend Tommy continues to improve as well. We are all
praying for you! Please continue to improve.
Fishing reports seem to be good! The fish are biting. Now
you just have to figure out where!
Remember we serve food 7 days a week starting at 7 a.m.
daily. Breakfast lunch and dinner! Anytime Bloody Mary's 2
bucks! Lore Merrill appearing on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
Stop in to win a night stay at the Wilderness Inn. Winners
last week were:
Doug Brierly
Jim Hubbard
Congrats to both of you!
Nothing much to report on this week. No news is good news!
Have a great week!
Big hugs
Sharon
