Greetings from the Town of Barnes! It was a somewhat slower
weekend after the big Memorial Day weekend. Many children
are still in school. Elliott was finished last Friday.
Little league was rained out on Tuesday. On Thursday we
played in Cable. We won 22-21. A defensive struggle!
I did not golf this week. I ended up in the emergency room
on Tuesday with virtually no vision. My contact solution was
tainted. The ophthalmologist thinks it was with alcohol. My
eyes were severely burnt. I am on the mend and my vision is
returning.
Good news Fran Palmer went home last Friday. She will still
need extensive therapy. Good luck Fran!
My friend Tommy continues to improve as well. We are all
praying for you! Please continue to improve.
Fishing reports seem to be good! The fish are biting. Now
you just have to figure out where!
Our new barstools are very nice. Thanks to Bob Wilson and
Wolf Creek Furniture in St Croix Falls.
Remember we serve food 7 days a week starting at 7 a.m.
daily. Breakfast lunch and dinner! Anytime Bloody Mary's 2
bucks! Lore Merrill appearing on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
Stop in to win a night stay at the Wilderness Inn.
Winners last week were:
Lani Holdolf
Don Debler
Congrats to both of you!
Nothing much to report on this week. No news is good news!
Have a great week!
Big hugs
Sharon
