Greetings from the Town of Barnes. Summer season is upon us.
The roads, lakes and businesses were flooded with people for
Memorial Day weekend. From what I hear it was booming
everywhere! Nice to hear that after a long winter. The
weather was acceptable. We did get much rain the Thursday
before. More came on Tuesday of this week. It is much
needed.
Golf was fun this week. I just love getting out there and
hitting that white ball.
Elliott had a game Tuesday that was interrupted by a
thunderstorm. He got a great hit and drove in a couple runs.
He has another game Thursday night and will makeup the
started game on Saturday.
If anyone is interested in making a donation to the little
league organization please call me. The league serves Cable
Drummond, Grandview, Delta, Mason and Barnes area. The teams
are all getting new uniforms and equipment which was badly
needed.
The winners of the Motels Stays were:
Dick Dana
