Greetings from the north woods! The weather has been
typical...very unpredictable. It had been a severe draught.
We did get rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thank goodness. We
are still under red flag status. No campfires no burning no
smoking outside.
On Monday the thermometer reached 92 degrees on Wednesday
golf day it was 42. Go figure! Unpredictable.
Golf was a bye week so we were practicing.
Elliott continues to practice for little league. His team
should do pretty well this year. It is so fun to watch the 9
and 10 year olds play and practice. If anyone is interested
in making a donation to the little league organization
please call me. The league serves Cable Drummond, Grandview,
Delta, Mason and Barnes area. The teams are all getting new
uniforms and equipment which was badly needed.
The winners of the Motels Stays were:
