Greetings from the land of no snow. It's coming ..it's coming
they say! My predictions are, it will miss once again. The
Birkie Ski race is very threatened. The officials have until 9
p.m. Friday to call the race. They (whomever they are) need 3
inches of snow for the shortened race to proceed. It is
looking very slim.
My trip to Acapulco was very nice. Our accommodations were
very nice. Not to mention the hospitality. Thanks Buzz and
Judy for the memorable vacation. The weather was perfect and
constant. We wined dined and reclined. Perfect trip! Flights
were less then perfect with all of the treacherous weather in
New York. I guess it could have been worse....We could have
been on Jet Blue.
Hallelujah! We won two out of three games of bowling. While I
was gone the last two Wed they lost all games. We are on the
up and up! I bowled well for being gone for two weeks. One
game was 177, good for me *smile smile*.
I did however miss the bar stool races. Team Trading Post with
the lead rider, Wayne Boelk raced 5 times. Not bad. I guess
the traditional Blackberry Brandy was in force. I bet everyone
had a great time.
Pool was fun on Thursday. Harlan and Wayne played for the 12
pack. Harlan was victorious!

Our annual 9 ball pool tourney will be Sat April 28, 2007. You
don't want to miss this one!
St Paddy's parade is coming quickly. Three weeks away! This is
a fun time and it sure breaks up the winter. Of course what
winter!
