Another week here and gone. They are flying by.
I am glad the elections are over. I hope everybody's candidate was victorious. Enough said!

We had a few nice days this week. The bowhunters were very successful. I did hear of an incident were someone shot a nice 8-10 pointer and when they finally tracked it and found it, the horns were severed off. Wow, how low can someone go? I hope they are proud of themselves, hanging someone else's antlers in their where ever!

Soon we will be evaded by the orange coats. Gun deer season opens Nov 18. Although some deer camps come up as early as the 14 or 15 to get ready! Ha ha it shouldn't take 4 to 5 days to get ready. Perhaps they need extra vacation time!

Bowling was fantastic we won all 7 points. We are moving on up. I bowled well. We also got new shirts. No more pretty in pink. The Barnes Trading Post is now seafoam.

The Barnes Elk hunters are due home from Colorado. Word is they shot one cow. I think two bulls were hit and never found. I bet they had an awesome time. Not much Miller Lite or Windsor for them. Yea right!

My thoughts and prayers to those in need--those who are facing serious problems. Our service people....my heart is with you all!

We recently lost our employee Cheryl she moved on to warmer pastures. Her house isn't winterized so she goes to Florida for the winter. Lucky girl! We hope she made the trip with no problems. We miss you and your job will be waiting for you! Amber too will be leaving very soon. Same situation except that she will be looking into missionary work in Africa. Best wishes to both of you! My employees are the best (rubbing my nose)!

Elliott had Monday and Friday off this week of school. Monday for in service for the teachers and Friday for conferences. I hope the children enjoyed two long weekends.

Remember we have motel openings for Thanksgiving. Call for availability? Things are always changing and people do cancel.
Stop in we are open 7 days a week starting at 7 a.m. We have daily specials including every day Bloody Mary's for 2 bucks.
