Wow!! We sure have been having crummy cold dreary weather! The sun is sparse and the cold is plentiful. Perhaps this is typical and we have just had non-typical Falls previously. I think the hunters dig this. The hunters have said the Bucks are in full rut. Time to get up here and bag the "big one"!

Bowling has been going well. The previous week we won all three games. We had stellar bowling by most of us. I bowled way out of my league. No pun intended. This week was pretty good as well. We took 5 out of 7 points. I bowled my average all three games.

Football had an awesome week, My teams all won. The Packers looked good. The Bears looked awesome. The Queens lost....oh darn! The Bucky Badgers came from behind to win. Woo hoo! March on teams!

Halloween was a bit quiet. It usually is when it is during the week. My Mom and I took my son the (punk skate boarder) to Hayward. The Wesleyan Church had a Trick or Trunk. People had their trunks open and decorated and handed out treats. The children trudged car to car. Fabulous idea! It was very brisk that night! I also heard the Lions Club of Barnes had a great turn out. You guys always do an awesome job!

The great white Elk hunters made it to Colorado in one piece. Now let's hope they bag 3 Elks. Have fun guys! We miss you already.

Remember our winter hours are Sunday through Thursday the kitchen is open from 7 am until 9 pm. Friday and Saturday from 7 am until 11 pm. YESSS we are open 7 days a week.

My condolences to the Bonner family with the passing of Neil. He has been ill along time. May he rest in peace. It was nice to see many old friends that I haven't seen in along time. Too bad it has to be under these circumstances.
