What a great week! The weather was lovely!
My heart goes out to all the people down south that are
having to contend with Hurricane Katrina. It is just
atrocious how destructive weather can be! I feel so helpless
here. I would love to go down a help!
It did not take long for the gas to increase! What's up with
that! It may make for a looooooooong winter for everyone!
The economy is going to be very rough.
I hope everyone had a safe fun and relaxing Labor Day
weekend! I know everyone at the Trading Post had fun! Happy
Birthday Jeremy. I hope you celebrated in style. The Motel,
bar and restaurant was very busy. Everyone wanted one last
hoorah! My employees did and outstanding job! GREAT job
everyone! You are the best!!!!
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 7th annual Steve
Hough Memorial Golf Tournament! We had 21 golfers (2 paid
but couldn't golf) It was a hot humid day but it didn't rain
on our parade, luckily! We all had fun. Congrats to Jerry,
Wayne, Wendell, George and Rosie. Their team came in 1st
with a 34. Great job golfers! Boo hoo to Lynn, Hub, Vic and
Dan.....they were highest with a 43! Awards going to: Pat
for longest drive and closest to the pin. Longest putt went
to Jerry! Mary had longest drive and closest to the pin.
Boohoo to Wendell and Jenneane for shortest drives! Everyone
had a great time! Thanks to ALL who contributed, made food,
golfed and supported. I appreciated your support with all my
heart. Special thanks to Andrea and Dave for donating the
greens fees! With all your support I will be contributed
$2400.00 to Drummond High School Scholarship Funds.
